This software gets worse instead of better. You lot used to be able to view your playlists in a listing instead of past looking at a huge listing of pictures. This is just awful! Please don't take away features when y'all "update"! Ugh. I actually pay for this!

Since the BigSur update, this App no longer works on my MacBook Pro, and crashes the laptop every time. This has been reported on many site, past lots of people now. Amazon, fourth dimension to sort the app out.

Later updating to BigSur Amazon Music causes a kernal panic and my Mac crashes difficult (in 20 years of using a Mac this is the 5th time something has done this). Before this it was about a 3 or 4 star app. I beloved the ultra HD, just the interface and finding music need an awful lot of help. Also likely three stars as it wants to load when the auto is restarted and takes a lot of effort to turn it off in more than the usual 2 places that manage this.

It would exist MUCH ameliorate if it allow you lot Cast Music to your Amazon Echo speakers like Spotify Connect. (from a mac or pc) - Notation the mobile allows you bandage music to these other speakers or groups of speakers, only the desktop app does not. When you lot do cast from mobile, it takes forever for the speaker to switch. Spotify connect is much simpler.

The Software simply updated on my Mac. Now whenever I click to play something it crashes. I've uninstalled, reinstalled, restarted computer....everything I tin can retrieve of. Not sure why all the 1 star reviews for this app. While the interface could exist improved, I've had zilch bug with finding music, adding favorites and streaming. I play well-nigh of my music via CD'due south I've ripped into iTunes, but when I desire to listen to something I don't ain I use Amazon music and accept never had a problem.

It appears that there is a known problem with Amazon Music v7.4 and v7.five where they crash on launch on many Macs. There are several threads on the upshot in Amazon'south support forum. The final version that appears to be working reliably is seven.iii.2.1595. Do not update the app until Amazon releases a fix.
